Founded in 2023, Malton London Press is an independent academic publisher operating as part of the wider Malton London Academy—an international academic ecosystem with an active presence across multiple countries.

Based in London, Malton London Press was established to extend the Academy’s long-standing engagement in academic teaching, research training, and scholarly development into the ethical dissemination of high-quality, socially relevant research. The Press supports rigorous, critical, and impactful scholarship, with a particular focus on management, organisation studies, social sciences, and interdisciplinary research addressing contemporary societal and institutional challenges.

Our publishing philosophy is shaped by the Academy’s close and sustained work with early-career researchers, doctoral candidates, and established academics working in diverse international contexts. As a result, Malton London Press adopts an author-centred, transparent, and academically led publishing model, prioritising intellectual contribution, scholarly integrity, and long-term academic value over commercial volume.

While Malton London Press operates from the United Kingdom and maintains its editorial, contractual, and publishing oversight in London, certain production processes—most notably the printing of physical book copies—are carried out through established academic printing partners in Türkiye. This approach allows us to ensure high production quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of print editions, while maintaining full editorial control and academic governance within the UK-based Press structure.

All editorial decision-making, peer review coordination, licensing arrangements, and publishing standards are managed in accordance with international academic publishing norms and reflect the values and oversight of Malton London Academy.
