Digital Preservation and Archiving
Malton London Press provides access to the digital editions linked from its publication records. Publisher hosting, routine backups and repository deposits serve different purposes. A DOI helps identify a work and locate its record; it does not itself store or preserve the full text.
Author deposit
Authors may deposit the published open access edition in an institutional or subject repository under its stated licence. Deposits should include the full citation, licence and DOI or permanent publication link, together with any version information. Repository deposit provides an additional access location, but its preservation terms depend on the repository.
External preservation coverage
Independent preservation coverage must be verified for the individual publication or collection. We do not claim coverage by a named preservation service unless an active arrangement and the relevant deposit can be documented. Where verified coverage exists, the publication record will identify the service and link to an available record. The absence of that information should not be read as confirmation of independent preservation.
Versions and access problems
Readers should use the publisher’s record to identify the current version and any correction or retraction notice. Please report broken download links to info@maltonlondonpress.com with the title, DOI or URL. If an alternative authorised access location is available, we will provide it.
